Personal bio
I live near Lancaster with my partner and our two sons - I really enjoy being a father. Fatherhood has had a profound impact on my therapy practice, giving insight into the role of a parent, and the importance of having an attuned, caring role model at some point in your life.

I lived in Australia and New Zealand for 4 years, and have travelled quite widely in other countries. I love the scary but exciting feeling of exploring something unknown - I recognise this feeling in therapy as it usually leads to change.

I am a musician and enjoy painting. Creativity is a huge part of who I am, and I love working to bring out others' creativity. I have a special interest in creative block, performance anxiety, and the creative process.

I lived for a long time with low self-esteem and anxiety and thought that’s just how life is. When I began to see that life could be different, I got a sudden boost of motivation and hope, and was amazed to see what life could be like. I knew at that point that I wanted to became a therapist, so others can discover that change is possible.
